Although this truck doesn't look like much from the outside, the food that comes out of it is impressive. The menu was very limited, and nothing was vegetarian (sorry Clayton) but everything that was served was gourmet. Fried chicken (that did not lose it's crispiness ever!), sliders on steamed buns (amazing), and tongue (Aaron likes it!). However, the best part of the night was when we were served our sweet potatoes. It was placed in front of us and then a blowtorch was used to melt the marshmallows! Right there on the table! Amazingly great presentation.
I read the reviews on NYMFT and had to try it out. The sweet potatoes and marshmallows lit on fire with a blowtorch were awesome! Fried chicken was so crispy and tasty- thick crunch. Also fried gravy?! OMG. Deserves the hype it's been given.

Flashback to my granny. Fried chicken. Dipped in Asian sauce smelled so good. I slobbered and stole it from my friend. Changed my life. So gooood.

Yo, Not Your Mama is da bomb. Some interesting looking sliders that melt in your mouth. Great down home friendly service with a smile. Then next door incredible Mexican with a kick. Highly recommend the beef tacos, carne guisada and chili cheese fries. Two thumbs up!!

Get the sweet potatoes! So good and nice presentation. Not a lot of options but everything was great. Amazing fried gravy. That's right, fried gravy. Also across the way Head Hanchos grill has awesome chile fries.

Not the best place for a veg. Only option were sweet pots and a side of rice. but the chipotle marshmallow sweet pots were awesome. Not to mention the blow torch! Parking was ok and the porta potty was lost in the corner behind a truck but...it did have a light. Play ground for kids (good or bad you choose). Great service and nice feel just wish there were more options.

Not Your Mama's Food Truck was absolutely amazing. I had never had tongue before, so I decided to try it, and it was awesome. The Korean fried chicken was equally delicious. It was crisp and meaty. Lastly, the beef slider with fried gravy was great. the beef was tender and the fried gravy sets it off.
