This week we spiced things up and did things a bit differently. We chose the location, but not the cart. East Side Drive-in is a really nicely set up and fairly new trailer food park on E. 6th. It has a really nice selection of food carts to choose from including Ugly Banjo's, Local Yolk, Pig Vicious, Bits and Druthers, Nineteen Bus, One Love Kitchen, Pueblo Viejo and the Vegan Yacht. We had our choice of Mexican food, home-cooking, local eggs, hamburgers/hot dogs/phillys, food involving bacon, vegan drinks and sandwiches, and more. It had a super nice feel with lots of tables and the seating was enclosed by the circle of food trucks so it felt distant from the road.

  1. Love the feel of East Side Drive In! Great setup/good seating/porta potty/lighting/heaters!!!/and 8 food carts. OK enough about East Side Drive In. The Vegan Yacht had a lot to choose from until we realized half of their menu wasn't available due to a broken grill. Sorry. Other than the lack of selection and opening late the food was great. I guess Vegans run late and aren't handy when it comes to kitchen equipment repair. Just kidding! Just kidding! Just don't mess up again and keep up the good work the TLT was great.

The East Side Drive In is a great place to go with friends and have some yummy food. Lots 'n lots of food options and plenty of places to sit. The vegan trailer is yummy, Got the TLT. I would get it again. I wish it came with a side but very tasty. I would recommend just going and trying tons of things. Lots of seating and bathrooms. I wish there was a dessert place but that's the only beef i have. Yum Yum :)

Our first ever experience was awesome. While good food is always a plus - the "groupies" of the FFC are warm and wonderful. Thanks. (Ugly Banjos)

Great parking, well lit, and good atmosphere. The food was hot and flavorful. The company and conversation was excellent!! (Pueblo Viejo)

Cheese steak was good, cheeseburger was way better! (#19)

I ordered the taco plater. It was nice because instead of serving beans and rice for sides, they had guacamole and chips and salsa. (Pueblo Viejo)

Disappointed with the amount of steak on the Philly Cheese Steak at Bus #19. Pig Vicious had the bacon quesadilla which was quite tasty with a bit of a kick! Be careful as it is a bit messy.

From the moment walking in I knew it would be good. The set up is great. Really welcoming! I just got a boring burger at #19 and it was far from boring! The bun was sweet, toasted and buttery! It made the burger perfect! I also had the grilled cheese @ Ugly Banjos, good, not amazing, but still really good! Gr8 experience!

Excellent service, excellent menu selections. Had the turkey sandwich with fried tomato, provolone and peach aioli. Ciabatta bread was delicious, taste was great. Only qualm is I like sliced turkey thin, and it was thickly sliced. Peach aioli drew my in and I loved the peach chunks. (Ugly Banjos)

I am biased and pretentious when it comes to Mexican food. Tamale was overcooked, bummer. Gordita was yummy. Love rajas con queso, but the tortilla was too thick Tacos looked really good though. (Pueblo Viejo)
