Well, we faced nature and ate delicious sushi all in one night. We had a special, out of town guest, Brittany! She came all the way from San Francisco just to partake in Foodie Foodcarts! Come back again soon Brittany!
Although our night (of eating) was cut short due to rain, I think we all got a chance to eat some of the food from Sushi-a-Go-Go and man, it was delicious! My personal favorite was the Summer Time Roll and the shumai shrimp dumplings. Also, although I didn't try them, I believe the octopus balls were a group favorite. Even though the rain cut my dinner short (reason to go back!), I was not at all bummed that the night transferred into a foodie house party :)

  1. Sushi-A-Go-Go was good fresh sushi. The only downside was the twenty minute wait for the food. I loved that it was in a lot surrounded by two other food carts. If you have some time and your in the mood for some awesome food hit up Barton Springs Rd.

Another Friday night. Another trailer :) This time sushi! Yum! So many choices. Friendly service not bad for the price. 8 pieces for around $6. Worth it. Decent atmosphere with plenty of picnic tables to sit at. Nice view of downtown. Near Town Lake trails. What else could you ask for? Sadly no live music, but BYOB with a nearby convenience store with a wide selection of wine and beer.

I had crunchy crap cakes- very good! Had avocado crab, the crab was really good and fresh tasting! Crab dumpling-delicious! Fried with crab inside. My favorite thing!

Rain....not so good. Sushi...amazing! It really was super good. The shrimp dumplings were perfect. I was hoping for maybe a sauce other than soy to dip in, and the price was a little high, but it was sushi so not surprising...other than that...perfect!

It was my first Austin Food Cart experience and it was fun! The lovely man running the cart was so friendly and helpful. Great sushi and fun! Wished there was some music, other than that, we were good!

The sushi was good. Needed more seating, and music, and about 20 minute wait for food. I would come back but not often. But the sushi was good after all...

This sushi really impressed me because I wasn't expecting it to be that good. It was delicious and the service was great and very friendly. I would definitely recommend the fried octopus balls, tako-balls. They were amazing!

Was not able to eat a whole lot due to rain. The go-go roll was delicious though.

I wish I had had time to eat more because what I ate was really good. The summer time roll with shrimp tempura was my favorite, and also I loved the other roll I tried, the crunch krab salad roll. The atmosphere was decent. I liked how it was in a little food cart community with 3 or 4 other carts, and also it was interesting how they were situated on what seemed to be a demolished building, each cart on its own little cement landing. The service was slow but the people were very nice and friendly. There was no accessible bathroom although there was a key for a porta-potty in the way back of the parking lot. BYOB is always a major bonus. I will go back because there were things I wanted to try that I didn't get to.
